You will enjoy the 70-200mm ... good for portraiture and of course other things. I would say that you made good use of the kit lens (24-105 mm). At the time of purchase of the 5DS R (ouch !)... I had a use in mind. But that has changed and I have some eye related issues that are not going to get better . So, I think I am going to sell my 5DS R. It has been on the shelf too much and some of the cash back would be good. I can get by with my lesser bodies (i.e., they need some use too).
You have demonstrated what the 5DS R is capable of. Really a good job. I enjoy my visits to your space.
