Description
Tarantula macro. Very shallow DoF with focus on the 2 front legs. Less shallow version to follow.HDR composite from 3 separate exposures. I can only assume the little bugger was sleeping since he didn't move a single hair in the process

Yes, was captured at a zoo. Most everyone around me was grossed out looking at a tarantula, so I could take my pictures in peace for a good 10 minutes while the camera rested on a tripod
