They're always so fun to draw though, so it's kind of a trade-off

Yeah I enjoy the fact that you can draw them in pretty much any style you like and they still resemble angels wings since the only representation of angels wings are people imaginations of them. If that makes sense?

Yep. Everyone always talks about how angel wings are supposed to be black, but I like to think that the wings on the show are just shadows, because people suck too much to perceive real angel wings

How silly, angel wings should be any and all colours. I once read a description of them as semi-corporeal structures of liquid glass that refracted light. I was a beautiful description, very detailed, no idea how it would translate into art and I certainly don't have the skill level to do it justice. As mythological constructs I think it's important for people to get creative, of course it's easier to do that in text.
