Some time back I came across a gallery with a "yourself as a trainer" picture. I liked it very much and the deviant in question, Mr. *rustyyy was kind enough to let me draw a version too!

A bit about the self-insertion
My self-insertion character has two Pokemon, one is a Scyther and the other is a Weedle. The Weedle is sadly, really a wimp! But they'll train him and hope he'll change to become braver. Weedle's quite thoughtful, though a little oversensitive.

As for the Scyther, he's the serious, responsible type. Generally he makes sure his trainer doesn't do rubbish, by smacking him upside the head with the back of his 'scythe'. Things are quite difficult for Scyther, because his trainer, Lucas, constantly is a flake and does the most nonsensical, reckless things ever. But Scyther will sigh and take it all in stride. Secretly, he's happy about it.

He believes that he's the only one who has the right to call his trainer an idiot, no exceptions. If anyone else does it, he throws a fit and can be rather dangerous. Also, he dislikes it when his trainer flirts with people. (Isn't this a lot like Killua? "Us, and just us!")

They are almost never in their Pokeballs, because they need to help look out for their pathetic trainer.
