This comic is the core of imagination in my belief. The art is wonderful, the story is exellent and very easy to follow. You really did show what its like for kid to have an imagination. Coming from me, im autistic so, that means it really shows me that you show the theme imagination very well. I also love how you brought discord, luna, and nightmare moon together. Its a wonderful matchup and a great relationship. You even stunned me when you made it so they were a family. Sincerly, this truly is Team Awesome. So its epic. goodbye.

This is a lovely comic. You put detail into the characters and they had their personality that they usually would. Tia, the leader and the oldest, was creative, like when she got the Cakes to spill her tea, and Luna, who's cute as hell, Discord, who is funny at times cracking jokes. THE ONE PROBLEM: Nightmare moon is Luna, just at a different time. Nightmare moon was considered to be a spirit that built up inside of Luna that turned her evil, which the magic of having friends for a day could stop. And the Mother Faust thing was brilliant. Wonderful.

And if that "spirit" was Dream? ( my version of NMM) What if in Luna lives two souls? One that is Luna herself. And second, that is Dream. So why not make them separate Alicorns? And then merge them into one. This is how I see it.

First off, I just wanted to say that this is a wonderful comic. Nice work! Okay, back to the good stuff.
Vision: I think this one of the better portrayals of Luna and "Dream" existing simultaneously. Great job on that, as I really haven't seen many comics featuring both Luna and Dream. If I did, though, I'm sure that this would come out around the top of my list.
Originality: I believe one of the other critics above already said this, but I'm going to repeat it anyways. I've seen the "Mother Faust" concept already, but it is a fun concept to play around with, as it can go so many ways. Also, the four making a fantasy of being a squad of super heroes brought out the fact that they are indeed still children, although I was still surprised to see that they were much younger than I thought they were. Also brought on a bit of nostalgia to my childhood. I miss those days, not having to worry about 3 hour homework loads...
But, I digress.
Technique: Although I don't see an individual style here, I actually like it that way (This is just a preference, for all of those who draw ponies their own way). I like FiM fanart that sticks to the original canon "base", while some artists stylize the ponies to their liking (It isn't always a bad thing, though. Impact: I finished the comic with a big smile on my face. I really loved the shock when Mother Faust turned on the lights. I don't think anyone was expecting that bit.
Overall: A wonderful comic! Certainly made me feel much better before leaving for school today. The childhood nostalgia and heartening feeling this comic gives makes it a recommended read! Great job!

Technique: First of all, this comic is extremely well-drawn. The characters are detailed, expressive, and colorful. One extremely small error is that Dream's horn is missing in the middle panel. Other than that, the drawing is superb. I especially like the additions of Faust and Discord breaking the panel lines. Small touches really add to art! The only other thing that could have been slightly improved is the dialogue shapes.
I rated 5 stars because perfection would take a ridiculous amount of time in a comic of this length. I bet this looks very much like what you imagined when you had this idea.
I think mother-Faust has been done before, but never have these four been portrayed in such a way. And the fact that Luna and "Dream" exist simultaneously reveals that they are characters made by Faust in this alternate universe that you have created. It is original, and I very much wish to see where this is going.
The Impact was potent. The initial reveal of the fillies/colt came as a surprise. The comic altered it's mood a bit with Luna's confession, but the carefree resolution revived the jovial attitude and seemed to make Celestia's shame a piece of purposeful early character development. The only dent in the effect was the slight confusion about this new universe you have drawn. Building upon this comic can (and will) only improve our understanding of what you see.
Overall: adorable and awe-inspiring. I really like this comic. It may lack knee-slapping humor but has a twinkling sophistry unparalleled by most comics I've seen. Wonderful job. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

Vision: I like how you portrayed "Team Awesome" as siblings in the past. Their interactions with eachother while playing are adorable, but it also makes the knowledge of how Discord and Nightmare Moon (or Dream as she's known as here) turn evil later on all the more sad and painful. I do think that the modern design on the house is a little unfitting though. In terms of timeline this should take place several thousand years before the start of the series after all.
Originality: There have been several fan-fics and stories made about the princesses' past before. But like I mentioned before I like how you envision them all (both the princesses and the two bad guys) as a former happy, innocent family. There is certainly room for more stories about these guys in this setting, like their future little plays together. If you wanted you could also later on go into detail about how Discord is a part of the family despite not being a pony or how the family eventually broke apart, but in my opinion I think a more playful and heartwarming setting like this fits better.
Technique: What can I say? I LOVE your artwork! The attention to detail, the well drawn characters, the angles, it's all just a joy to look at. I do think you need to change the colors of the characters speechbubbles though. I often confused Lunas text with Dreams in the beginning.
Impact: What do I think about after reading this? How innocent and happy your childhood is, but also how much things can change over time. Bonds are broken, ties are lost, friendship and love are forgotten. Then again that could just be because of my prior knowledge of the kids' future in the show, and not something you yourself thought of when you drew this.
Overall: I would love to see more of this should you choose to make them. There really is a lot of potential here regardless of what route you would choose to take it down. An Awesome comic indeed.

I agree on every single thing with you.
Only problem is their home. If I make it to look like in VERY old days it will be big and kinda unpleasant place. But to change your vision a bit....Lauren or Fausticorn....she can create whatever she wants as she is Princess Of Creation. So if she wants her home to look better she just makes a sketch of it, then focus her power and her sketch will become reality.
I will change color of speechbubbles.
And for the thing "Where Discord comes from?" I will show that. Better, I will show how every Lauren child was created/born. I call it "So how did it start?"
