Story
The orange sky turned dark in the matter of couple of hours. In that time the small band got back to the Arcade Oasis, managed to help Grace Get drink and all of them slowly felt their eyes get heavier and heavier over time. Even one of the caracals ended up yawning like a kitten simply ending with a grumble ”Walter I’m sleeeeepy”

Louis was the younger twin but the way he acted was closer to a bigger age gap then 3 minutes. The two cats had different sleeping time, when one is up the other one can rest. Meaning Louis was the day time hunter while in the night the charcoal caracal was on the prowl.

Odin was still trying to hold his head up but gave up after he heard one of the mares lie down and huff out of tiredness. Grace put her head on the chilly sand and closed her eyes. ”It’s such a nice night yet I am really tired. Good night everyone” she said with the usual sweet tone of voice and of course keeping her manners. Lightning smiled and lied down closely as well ”I’m shattered” she laughed quietly ten looked at Odin curiously ”What about you? You should rest Odin after all” the mare pinned her ears forward looking at him and waiting patiently for a reply from the young stallion. He snorted in a lazy matter and nodded his head in agreement ”I will rest but someone needs to keep an eye on dang…” he was cut off shortly by the dark caracal ”I’ll keep an eye out for any danger” Walter said this in his usual stoic voice, already looking around and being 100% cautious of anything that could happen. Odin only lifted his eyebrow and asked ”Aren’t you tired?”

The cat nodded disagreeing, also not being aware of the horse’s blindness ”I have a different sleep pattern then my brother. I hunt at night while he sleeps” Even Lightning looked over to Walter curiously, seeing his lit up eyes, it was almost scary but again he wasn’t the type to attack in such a terrible style. Lit smiled ”Well thank you for the service Walter, but would there be a way for us to pay back? We don’t really want to use you two” Odin nodded as it was the truth, the cats have their own life and they are nice, it’s best to repay a favor in some way.

Walter simply looked at his brother that was about to nod off ”Could he sleep with the band?” the caracal asked. As Louis was already falling asleep, he had a bad habit of being in the open which asks for trouble, Odin simply smiled ”Sure thing”

The younger caracal had a great expression, he was happy and hyped yet at the same time he looked like he could fall asleep any second. Louis smiled ”oh hell yes!” in that instant he jumped on the white stallion’s back making him buck a little ”hey!” Louis didn’t have a problem holding on even with his claws hidden to not hurt the horse ”Calm down! I just wanted to sit on your back, plus when I wake up it’s a good lookout point” he chuckled as Odin calmed down.

”You should have mentioned this first before jumping on me” he huffed in surrender as he was already tired. Yet Walter hissed quietly at his brother suggesting to get off. Pretty much causing the opposite reaction. ”Walter pleaaaaaaaaaaaaase” the younger caracal begged. ”No” simple yet crushing answer. Odin just huffed again and mumbled ”ah whatever you can sleep on my back. It’s not like you are heavy” he lowered his head down as he really wanted to sleep now. Grace was already sleeping, Lightning also nodded off. Now Louis just curled up in a ball and closed his eyes with a purr saying ”G’night” later followed by the lead stallion himself. As he quietly fell asleep. The only one left was Walter, keeping a watchful eye on the place. So everyone is safe, his glowing eyes were already enough to keep predators away from this area.

A small growl just to show that there is a big cat around, the horses were sleeping peacefully. Soon the sun will raise and another day will come.
