It's Lord Vader. THE Darth Vader. Uhh..The only Vader that ever was.

He's so awesome. And how awesome is my Drawing I teacher? The way we do our still lives is to draw them from a projection versus having objects lined up or scattered on a table in front of you. My professor believes that stuff is boring and I would agree...but what's funny is that since I haven't done stuff like that, I really wanted to...I'm weird. Maybe after a couple of still lives I'd want to peace out but regardless, really fun semester! He chose for all of us to draw from an original sketch of Darth Vader before he was finalized, so he looks a bit different here, a bit more stylized, it seems...In the chin area or something. Whatevs.

Anyway, I noticed with my camera that there are some of my work that look better in the photo then it does in real life and then those are the opposite...I like this one because it really gives a nice metallic glow for soft pastels...But the one in real life because its much darker...As in the blacks of the background are almost as black as Vader himself, so the lighting is real dim and the only highlights available are the white streaks. I tried different styles of shooting for effects and shot many pictures (of all the traditional pieces) and chose the best ones to put up here.

Oh well, whatever. Still happy with it. Enjoy!
