I haven't been uploading stuff as I should. I've been kind of busy, despite drawing quite a lot lately.This is Nei, not from Phantasy Star II, but from a radio drama set a few years before Phantasy Star IV. This is a newman (or numan, take your pick) that has blurry and incomplete memories of the original Nei. She meets and befriends Rudy Ashley (Chaz Ashley) after catching him stealing. In this radio drama, she was voiced by none other than Kotono Mitsuishi, better known for voicing Misato Katsuragi in Evangelion, Excel from Excel Saga, Ebichu in Oruchuban Ebichu and Sailor Moon/Usagi Tsukino and relatively more recently Christie from the Dead or Alive series.

I really like the way this turned out. Those costume designs included in the Radio Drama packaging were really neat, though I never could stand the pinhead anatomy that went along with them. It's nice to see the costume design here with better proportions!

I remember reading the translation on that drama a long while ago.... I do notice that she's equipped with standard claws in that picture- she used one laser claw and a "Neiclaw" during the fight with NM-2011. Quite a good drawing, excellent posing.
