Love it. I think the image, the textures, the typography and colors are very appealing and get the message through. It's a very strong image and looks very professional. Great job and I hope you did well in your final project (I have no doubt you did 
On a side note, it kinda reminds me of a mix between a horror movie poster and the cover of Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence by the band Dream Theater.
