Description female Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx) - she was vocalizing repeatedly, making loud meow-calls which I assume to be mating calls, the time would be about right for that.

I wish I had seen that in the wild, but I took that photo at a zoo, the Wildpark Schwarze Berge - they have only animals that are native to Europe and keep them in very large and natural enclosures. I always enjoy going there.
I think to see a lynx in the wild in Germany you have to be insanely lucky.
