As I'm developing my Next Gen characters, I thought it might be nice to present some shipping pics for the couples I'll be using.

Sweetie Belle/Featherweight:
While she's still a co-president and manager of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Sweetie pursued her talents in singing and became a star performer. She spends a lot of time recording music, but really enjoys singing live on stage. She and Featherweight reunited during one of her earlier tours when the young stallion was tasked with interviewing the rising star. He began attending all of her shows, both as a reporter and as a fan. The two slowly grew together as they met up at home and on the road.

Zipporwhill/Pipsqueak
Zipporwill took her love of dogs to the road when she began establishing small community branches of the ESPCA all across Equestria. Her travels brought her near and far, all the while helping the pets she loved so much find their own loving homes. Pip pursued a career in capturing the unknown. He earned his cutie mark in navigation, and spent much of his teenage years and early twenties travelling from place to place, by land, sea, and sky. The pair met up in Baltimare when Pip's sailing partner, Molly, a golden retriever, got lost in a crowd while the ship was loading. Zipporwhilll found her, and the pair began meeting up whenever Pip's adventures found him back on dry land.

Applebloom/Snails
Out of all of the CMC, Applebloom spends the most time in Ponyville. With her friends traveling the country, AB took on the task of building a homebase for the CMC. She mentors young fillies and colts from around the area in the small, school-like house. A few years later a large storm hit Ponyville and devastated the farm. The flooded terrain took weeks to dry up completely, and while Apples came from near and far to help rebuild the farm, the static water attracted hoards of insects that the farmers were ill equip to deal with. Luckily, the general destruction of Ponyville had brought many ponies back home to help. One such pony was Snails, who had just graduated from college in Canterlot with a degree in entomology. He helped the family get rid of the infestations, and offered to cast a repellent spell to keep the pests away for a while longer. Thus began a routine of refreshing the spell every few weeks by walkignt he perimeter of the farm. AB started to come along, taking care of chores while Snails cast his spells. The pair sparked a quick friendship that slowly became more intimate.

Twist/Truffle Shuffle
A candy maker and a chef seem to make the perfect pair. These two have been friends since they were foals, and when their talents coincided so perfectly, they decided to open their very own diner that served both dinner and dessert. The partnership perfectly blended their personalities, and Truffle proposed after only a few years of business.

Scootaloo/Button Mash
After Rainbow Dash became a full time member of the Wonderbolts, Scoots started to take her own wings more seriously. Refusing to accept that she was destined for the ground, she began a rigorous training schedule that quickly landed her nowhere. Exhausted and out of options, she sulked around Ponyville for days. One day, she came across a young earth stallion with makeshift wings. Button Mash had been trying to properly code flight patterns into a new video game he was programming, but was struggling with the wing movements. Thus, he tried to craft his own in an attempt to better understand the subtle movements that went into flying. Unfortunately, the makeshift version was less than realistic. Button asked Scootaloo if she would be able to help him out, and while the young mare was less-than enthusiastic, she agreed. They began to meet up every few days, Button examining the minute details of wing movement, and Scootaloo slowly regaining her drive to fly. As they grew closer, Button was able to encourage Scoots to try again, and after a long struggle, she managed to make progress. Scoots ended up moving to Cloudsdale in order to train for the Wonderbolts tryouts, but returned often to see her friends.

Babs Seed/Tidepool (I named him, he was a character in the Made in Manehattan episode)
Babs ended up opening her own hair salon right in the middle of Manehattan. Proud and independent, she refused to seek a partner for a long time. Fortunatly, Tide was rather persistent. His work on the beaches was time consuming, yes, but he made time to see that pretty mare in town square. He often used deliveries as a guise to see her, bringing in decorated shells that the salon used as hair decorations. Eventually, Babs caved in to the stallion's charm and accepted his offer of a date.

I've got the foals for these guys almost entirely designed, with names too, I just need to design some cutie marks
