Aha! Our hero was able to give a great gift to ~Dragonfeelers without sacrificing his own hide! He is rather cold now, though. I made this at the same time I made Sly Cooper , as part of a gift to thank Asteria for coming to Canada for her vacation, and for letting me join her for it. What can I say, I was inspired. (:

This was another pre-curing experiment, like Sly. I made the barrel first, and put the straps on (and Boolean in) after it was cured. The barrel was a bit tricky to make. There are two rings of paper clip inside it to help give it a more-or-less round shape. Equally tricky was trying to make everything else stick to the barrel until it could all cure, since cured and uncured Fimo don't stick to each other very well. I had some trouble with his footpaws in particular. (Although it may have made it easier to keep things together, no, there's not a complete naked Boolean in there. Just his upper torso, and the feet and tail sticking out the bottom.)

I must have made the neck a bit too thin, or else Boo was just very embarrassed, because when he cured, his face fell forward to hide his muzzle in the barrel, hide from the shame of his condition. A bit of crazy glue put him back to what we see here.

It's not the world's most complex Fimo, nor is it perfect by any stretch, but I'm really pleased with it; I took an idea and executed it to my great satisfaction. Asteria really liked it, too, even more so than her new coat! (I'd be a bit miffed if I weren't so cold...)
