this was done a few weeks ago. i got the drawing from an art book in the library but i didn't like the way the hair was shaded (cross-hatching), so i instantly thought of adding some dots instead. whilst going through this process and afterwards i noticed how her eyes look-man she looks stoned! i'm talknig HELLA FADED homie! this dude that saw it said it looked like something you'd see on a santana album cover. i guess he's right. i'll color it in sometime soon when i get access to a computer with photoshop so i can teach myself, along with my other artwork. as always, comments and criticisms are welcome. done with no. 2 pencil.Related content

hmm.... you could make the eyes a little bigger and her face would be more feminine i think...

yeah that's what i was thinking when i looked at it later but the more i saw it i thought the eyes were perfect. with the psychedelic bubble pattern in her hair it makes her look even MORE faded. i gotta finish vectorizing this for the clothing design thing i'm taking on at the moment.

Wow! This is really impressive. I've seen this circular pattern done in digital art, but I love it in pencil, that makes it so much more human.

very 70s hippie LSD styles very cool it definatly drew me into it for a closer look.
the circles in the hair was a great idea it worked out very well.

thanx. i already worked on it in luustrator and retraced the face hair and circle pattern. next 'm going to come up with some psychedelic backdrop for the hair after getting rid of the pencil marks i traced over and voila! psychedelic remix!
