I'm sorry I couldn't get this up last night It took YouTube four hours to upload. It then started processing, but then the processing failed because something was bad about the video, so I had to delete and recopy it into a file before reuploading. ;w;

Anyway

Kind of a commemoration to when I first started playing Minecraft with friends. A thank you. I was practically shoulder deep in depression and had completely lost interest in drawing. When I first started playing Minecraft, Yawges , my brother, showed me the basics and eventually I purchased my own realm that I then shared with SpiritedAura and kiathefox2 , even though SpiritedAura was only able to play with me for two days before they went out to sea for 5+ months. Nonetheless, those two days really saved my life, it's kind of a sad drive, but the only thing I was really "staying around" for was so I could play Minecraft again with Spirit (and since then, I've had to cancel my subscription to Minecraft Realms because I'm broke as shit ).

The first day, we didn't really have any notable Minecraft skins. I had something that looked similar to Data Derpy, but not quite (which is why I drew it here ) for a couple of weeks before eventually making myself a Dream Caster skin to go with Spirit's Seme skin. Dream's holding a cake because well...the first thing I did in my realm was place cake all over the damn place tbh xD Seme has eggs because he likes eggs and I don't know why I gave him a diamond, I just had that pose and expression in my head since I first thought up of this. Dream has a book because well...tomes. Then the three of us (Spirit, Yawges and I) made a house. A rather small house. Too small for three people. And then I covered every block with torches. And it was a hideous sight. So I undid the mistake I made. kiathefox2 just ran away and made a hobbit hole.

Anyway, in this picture, I tried to make the background look somewhat like where we first spawned (oh right, we tried boating away too, but kinda failed). The house was on a small peninsula(ish) overlooking the ocean, and to the left (our left in this picture) was a small mountain that Kia build their hobbit hole in (though I didn't add that ). Also, torches. Lots of torches.

So when I first heard the song I used, I decided that it'd make a good song for a speedpaint. It didn't take me too long to figure out what I wanted to draw for it. Unfortunately, I wasn't very confident in my ability to pose humans this dynamically, so after trying twice, I decided to wait until I improved and I'm glad I did, even though it didn't necessarily turn out perfectly.

I'm sorry you had to read all of that nonsense x'D This was just a moment in my life that was heavily decisive of whether I would've followed through with my suicidal temptations. This was also back when Minecraft still belonged to Mojang (not like Microsoft really changed much about it, at least nothing I've noticed) x'D
