Bio:

Mægrä grew up at the High Fae Court back when they were collectively the Children of the Tuatha divided into four seasons that ruled Ireland in three month rotations. The daughter of BánScáthe, King of Winter, and Morrígan, Queen of Autumn**, which meant she only spent six months of the year at Court. Nonetheless,
Mægrä was raised to be the leader of both seasons and a prime example of High Fae. When the Court split in two, she felt responsible but it had been a long time coming and she was simply the tool her father used to accomplish it.

When Mægrä matured, she was expected to bed those of superior lineage within the courts and sire an heir, since Fae mate for heirs not for love. She refused this archaic way and lied to her parents about it. When the truth was found out, she and her lover were separated, punished and forced to recant their ways, but they didn't. This led to the banishment of her love's half and half-blood (half Unseleighe, half Seleighe) and her isolation.

Isolation for the Fae is never good. Her health dwindled until she lost the babe she didn't know she was carrying. Her mother, the sole contact she had in Isolation, refused to tell her father because that would bring Mægrä's love and his ilk back to the Unseleighe Court. When Mægrä was deemed well enough to breed, a male was let into her rooms. She mutilated him, then dragged him to her father's Throne room and tossed the weakling at his feet. This did not help her situation... I'm leaving out what happened.

When the Seleighe Court found out what they were doing to Mægrä they made ready for war. When Asteroth found out, he became enraged and killed Mægrä. Her soul cried out for vengeance and Arawn, the Lord of the Otherworld and Death answered. He raised her granting her revenge with one stipulation, she would be crowned Queen upon her parents demise. This she readily excepted. Arawn called off the Seleighe Court and then loosed Mægrä on her own people. She killed everyone invovled with her breaking and then took the throne as Queen Mæb Díoltas, Queen of Air and Darkness.

She then went looking for her Love only to learn that he was now mated to another. She became what the fae call Soul-striken. Soul Stricken Fae go through a series of changes before they reintroduce themselves into Fae society. This can take anywhere from months to a year. Mæb went through all five stages in a matter of months, becoming isolated (remember this isn't good for Fae) the week after she found him with his mate. She came out vowing vengeance on all men who would claim to love someone then love another without knowing the fate of the first. At the time, she didn't realize that she was gifted prophetic abilities when she was raised.

This led to her love's entire village being burned and everyone but him killed. She went after him to make up for what she'd done in ignorance, but it was too late. She killed the mortal that tortured him and laid a curse on his descendants who settled in Ireland. She died killing the Mortal and was raised again, this time by Isabella Nyx, Arawn's wife.

Mæb decided to stay away from Court and rule the throne from afar through her seven most trusted warriors (all women). She also stayed away from her first love as well at least when he was awake. She often visited him while he was asleep and always on the anniversary of his clans demise and sat with his unconscious body as he relived the torture of that night. She became known as MacKenzie Ó'Conaill(which means Strong as a Wolf) and is at the beck and call of Arawn, Isabella, and the Unseleighe Court since she doesn't have an heir... yet.

Character:

Before the torture, she was loyal, loveable, and had a charisma that everyone was attracted to, she also had a mouth and was strongwilled to the point of being stubborn.

After the torture and her Soul Striken six months, she was cold-hearted, alluring, dark, and sought vengeance at just about any cost. She was loyal to those that were loyal to her and cruel to those who weren't.

2) Queen Mæb Díoltas: Her title as Queen of the Unseleighe Court.

4) The Wolf: Her call sign among her army, The Wolf or the Wolf General.

5) MacKenzie Ó'Conaill/O'Connell: Her name in the Present day world outside of those who know her. Her surname means Strong as a Wolf

6) Queen of Air and Darkness: Her title among the Fae as she was able to manipulate shadow and become shadow herself after her resurrection.

Hair - Crimson Red

Skin - Pallid and freckled

Build - Amazonian: tall, muscular, Svelte, Voluptuous

Facial Features - Slightly snubbed nose, scaring, down-tilted eyes, large irises, and a prominent chin

Eyes - Purple with a crown of gold around her pupil that reminded her father of her true mother.

Piercings and/or markings - oh she has a lot
Piercings: right eyebrow, septum, lower middle lip, three or four earrings, belly button, and nipples.
Markings: By the time of this picture she has several tattoos, and a lot of scars due to her torture.

Shadow Walking: Becoming one with the shadows and flying through the realm of Shadow to get places quicker (there are risks to this)
Umbrakinesis: the ability to throw, control, or wield darkness and shadows.
Shyfting: She can transform into many things, one of which is a giant Wolf and the reason for her call sign.
telekinesis: This is an extension of her Umbrakinesis as she uses the darkness and shadow to lift, pull, push and so on.
Projecting: A sort of telepathy that only goes one way. She can project or throw her voice without using her mouth.
Therakinesis, healing: Another extentsion of her darkness, she can heal with her darkness, strange but true.
Pyrokinesis: Yes, she is a fire wielder.
Venekinesis: The ability to create, manipulate, and control poison.
Carokinesis: The ability to literally melt flesh from bone or turn a person inside out. This is gross and something I borrowed from Laurell K. Hamilton's Merry Gentry Novels.
Scrying: the ability to look into a glass or mirror and see or look in on someone else.
The Gift of Fate: the ability to see the past in recognition, the future in visions, and somewhere else in the presence via a "third Eye"
