Description
This was something Gabriel-C and I played around with. This picture is Mæb's return to Court on All Hallows Eve, the only night of the year the Fae come above ground and are all together in one place. By this time, she's become a myth or a legend among the Fae and rumor says she's long dead. This is sort of true but also not, See here for more details on that: Character Snapshot Maegra

~Scene:~
Mæb's cousin Sam, Queen of the Summer Court, sits at the head of the Table, telling her great great grandson about the day they were cursed to the underground by Queen Mæb. Sam’s hair now white blonde with age and her skin so pale from being underground for so long, looks grey as she finished the tale.
“And then Queen Mæb threw open the doors of our party. Her armor was dripping with the blood of our mortal enemies, the sons of Míl. No one payed attention to her, not until she flipped a table, and then everything changed...” a loud crash of thunder echoes as a burst of darkness appears on the grand staircase entrance and everything goes deathly quiet as Queen Mæb appears out of the Smoky darkness. “Slap me twice and call me a scubaid**.”
“I’d oblige, Samhradh, but I’m not here for you,” Mæb calls from the stairs, “Where is Óbhuí***?”
~End Scene~
** Scubaid is basically bitch in old Irish Gaelic
***Óbhuí means golden.
