Description
My inks of my sketch of Ik the King of the Trolls. Really played a lot with textures and had a lot of fun there. I left the linework a bit open on the Ugly Stick because I'm hoping to do some things with color there that might be hurt by too much texture. If I'm wrong, I'll go back and dig in there as well. Lots of fun to do! I haven't gotten to play with pen and ink in a while.Related content

Awesome! It reminds me more of the Goblin king from the animated film "The Hobbit".

Yeah, I was going a little bit in that direction. This is based on a character that a friend and fellow actor plays at Renaissance Festivals. I wanted to push him more towards the other-worldly and monsterous in proportions, and ended up following the Rankin Bass road.
