Description
The fifth group of sword and sorcery styled Justice League members in my little series of fantasy character designs.

Desert Lightning: Black Lightning as a Moorish warrior. I like the idea of giving him twin swords to chanel his lightning, and can see him scraping one along the other to shoot off balls of lightning at opponents or just aiming arcs of lightning down either sword. There could even be something where an opponent somehow gets his swords away from him, thinking they are the source of his power and trying to use the lightning against him when he says something along the lines of "the lightning isn't in the swords, it is in ME!" and goes electric super-nova. Could be fun.

The Red Knight: This is Red Tornado as a living suit of armor inhabited by a wind elemental. In many ways it is the same story as Red Tornado, only with armor in place of an android. I had a good time designing the armor and incorporating those Red Tornado yellow arrows.

Zatanna: For Zatanna I played with the whole "inherited powers from her dad" angle, and since she's got a look in the comics where she's wearing what's basically a classic men's stage magician costume I figured that I'd do the same kind of thing with my take, so she's inherited her powers from her father who was a powerful court magician like Merlin, and she's also inherited his wardrobe. I also like this, because if she's in silhuette, she'll look like a Merlin/Gandalf type wizard until she steps out into the light for a fun reveal.
