Description
A small Toxomerus Hover Fly on Florida Lettuce. Saw these beautiful little flowers on the roadside when leaving Blue Grass Reserve after a great morning of kayaking. Had to stop and take some photos.Related content

That's a really pretty flower and great catch with the hover fly in there. I haven't been out much shooting bugs yet, really need to get busy.

Definitely my favorite of the three; I like the way the overhead angle reveals the radial symmetry of the flower in juxtaposition to the bilateral symmetry of the fly.
