This started out as a sort of character study, a way to experiment with the designs of these two. I hope that I managed to at least make a little bit of their personalities come through in this. Right now I'm working on a comic about them and their relationship during the Civil War, so this was a bit of practice.

I have a feeling I'll do a lot of Civil War stuff this year, as a.) it's the start of the sesquicentennial (150th anniversary), b.) I've living in Washington, D.C., and c.) it's been my favorite period in American history since I was in like, first grade.
