Armaments: 3 Flechette Cannon Turrets, 1 Concussion Missile Launcher

The Aggressor Assault Frigate is the Vaygr equivalent of our own Ferin Flak Frigates. Where as the old Vengeance Assault Frigates and Taiidan Kuudark Assault Frigates were more anti-corvette, anti-frigate vessels, the Aggressors focus on taking on enemy fighter squadrons. Aggressors fire single shots instead of flak bursts from their turrets. The turrets have high speed targeting computers and the turrets can track targets fast enough to score direct hits. The turrets are powerful enough to destroy most fighters on a direct hit and severely damage corvettes. Compared to our Flak Frigates, it takes two to three Aggressors to match the Flak Frigate's ability to take down a single squadron. The Aggressors can prove fairly formidable against corvettes as they're slower, easier targets. Against enemy frigates, they can definitely beat a flak frigate one on one but against a torpedo or ion cannon frigate, it's unlikely unless they have backup.

Much like their fighters and corvettes, Vaygr frigates share a common chassis. All Vaygr frigates are armed with a dorsal mounted concussion missile launcher that can help in warding off enemy fighters and corvettes.
