Note: The information below is from my own universe which is a blend of old and new canon and it not to be considered canon in any other universe but mine. When I decided to put Anakin back into his infamous Darth Vader armor, I didn't want to go the route of the stark white Infinities version. Anakin Skywalker - Jedi Lord
For nearly two decades after the Battle of Endor, Anakin was able to survive without his infamous Darth Vader armor. It wasn't until he was injured by a Sith Lord over Mustafar that he was forced to return to his infamous armor. This decision was not made lightly as his injuries placed his life in jeopardy and his children had to act quickly to save his life. Fortunately Anakin had kept a spare suit of his armor and had even made some modifications to it, perhaps foreseeing that he might one day have to return to the armor. Although initially horrified and nearly driven to suicide by the notion of being trapped in the armor again, Anakin quickly accepted his condition.

Unlike when he was initially placed within the armor at the end of the Clone Wars, Anakin's Vader armor and cybernetics have undergone extensive modifications. The suit is not nearly as uncomfortable or restrictive as it originally was and his cybernetics are top of the line, granting him even greater strength and mobility than before. Knowing that he is still vulnerable to certain Sith abilities such as Force Lightning, Anakin has modified his suit, adding various capacitors and other electricity dampening devices. He has also learned to use the Force to shield himself from these abilities to some extent.

Anakin has been forced to adapt to another aspect of being within the armor. Former Imperials and even members of his own 501st Legion have mistakenly addressed him as "Lord Vader," something which Anakin has openly shunned and is quick to rebuke those who do so. He has opted for a compromise instead, choosing to be known as Lord Skywalker, resurrecting the millennia extinct title of Jedi Lord. There are very few people that Anakin respects enough to permit them to address him as "Vader" with Boba Fett being the only known person on that list so far.

Aesthetically, Anakin wanted to try and lessen his intimidating appearance to some extent. One idea was to recolor the armor completely in white but the idea was soundly rejected. The second solution was more ideal. Removing the black cape and robes of Darth Vader and replacing them with more a more traditional brown Jedi cloak and robes. Luke has privately mused that it seems more fitting for his father, especially considering that Anakin, who is believed to be the Chosen One foretold in the prophecies, would bring Balance to the Force, and Anakin's appearance now invokes a balance between the Light and Dark Sides of the Force. Anakin's demeanor since returning to his armor has largely remained unchanged. He will, however, use his intimidating appearance to his advantage.

Although still considered to be an unparalleled swordsman with only a single blade, Anakin carries two lightsabers. His original lightsaber and the lightsaber of his fallen first Apprentice, Ahsoka Tano. He carries it in the hopes that she will one day turn away from the Dark Side and return to the Jedi.
