What they present as Star Wars isn't Star Wars anymore, nor are the characters, or the message it conveys. Everything has become corrupted and has been turned upside down, which is, imho, quite outrageous, and a slap in the face of any real fan.
So, yes, I very much wish that it was up to us to determine the direction it takes. Unlike Disney, which is all about profit, we happen to actually care about it.

Easy fix: adapt the original canon from the novels into an animated show like the Clone Wars, but with a lot of the plot issues patched up.

Yes, indeed - and this one is very much in need of fixing. I never liked that he had to die - especially after he just turned to the light again.
It's just a shame, given what he could have done to atone for his past deeds.
And the FAMILY BONDING. I have always wished to see him reconciling with Leia, and some lovely father-daughter moments - just as we had with Luke in terms of father-son. Shame - especially since she is the most similar to Anakin, personality-wise.
Anyway, I'm glad to know you liked it and even adopted it as headcanon. Thanks again! <3
