Description This is one of my ships from my Star Wars Fanfiction Series: Star Wars: The Shadow Wars. The series is currently between "Seasons."

Note: The information below is from my own universe which is a blend of old and new canon and it not to be considered canon in any other universe but mine.

The image was acquired through the Star Wars: Warlords Mod for Homeworld 2 Classic.

Name: Kreia, Admonisher (formerly)
Class: Venator-Class Star Destroyer
Manufacturer: Kuat Drive Yards
Current Status: Destroyed (28 ABY, Mustafar orbit)
Commanding Officer: Darth Vandal (formerly)
Affiliations: The Sith Empire, The Galactic Empire (Formerly), The Galactic Republic (Formerly)

"It was called the Kreia? Seems appropriate." "I'm afraid the significance eludes me, sir." "Considering your surname, Madam Director, it may be a part of history you should familiarize yourself with." - Grand General Galen Marek and Republic Intelligence Director Deena Shan during an intelligence briefing three days after the beginning of the Shadow Wars.

Not much is known about this particular Venator. What is known is that it was one of the few remaining Venator-Class Star Destroyers still functioning by 28 ABY. The Venator was initially utilized by the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars and later by the Galactic Empire. During its Republic and Imperial service, the Venator was named the Admonisher.

In 17 BBY, the Admonisher suddenly disappeared without a trace. Official records listed it as having been decommissioned, a fate not uncommon to the comparatively obsolete Venator-Class as the Empire was shifting its focus away from the Venators towards the newer Victory and Imperial-Class Star Destroyers. Not only were these ships technologically superior to the Venators but the Venators were also symbols of the Old Republic, something the Empire was trying to sweep away.

The Admonisher wouldn't reappear until 28 ABY, more than 45 years later, in orbit over Bespin in an attempt to capture a Jedi freighter called the Mynock. According to the Mynock's sensor logs, the Admonisher's transponder reported it's name to be the Kreia. Subsequent analysis of the Mynock's sensor logs by the Jedi and New Republic Intelligence shows that the registry number transmitted along with the ship's name matches up with the Admonisher, confirming the two ships as one and the same.

The Kreia was spotted again by passing ships near Tatooine, finally capturing the Mynock before jumping to hyperspace mere seconds before the arrival of the Republic's First Fleet.

The Kreia was spotted a third and final time mere hours later, this time in orbit over Mustafar, seemingly alone. However the Kreia was soon revealed to be the bait for a trap as it signaled a fleet of pirate and mercenary ships to drop out of hyperspace and attack the First Fleet. However, the mercenaries and pirates were completely outmatched by the Republic forces and near the end of the battle, the pirates turned their weapons on the Kreia, scuttling the ship. The Mynock and it's crew successfully escaped the ship's destruction.

While not public knowledge, it has since been determined that the Kreia was in fact controlled by the Sith Empire. The Sith were using the Venator to carry out some of their more public activities, keeping their main fleets in reserve until the time was right to launch their surprise attacks on Coruscant and Yavin IV simultaneously.

The Jedi Order recognizes the name Kreia as the name of a fallen Jedi Master from nearly 4000 years prior to the Battle of Yavin: Jedi Master Kreia, who fell to the Dark Side and became a Sith Lord known as Darth Traya, the Lord of Betrayal.
