Can't believe I've just been sitting on this picture the whole time. Well, have at it. The result of extreme flash flooding. Swamped dozens of roads, dozens of underground parking garages were flooded or even completely inundated, including some near where this picture was taken. Madison Fire was going through them while I was taking that photo and a related video. I don't believe there were any fatalities during this specific event, however.Related content

Yeah, luckily we haven't had anything like that this year, but we did have that impressive set of explosions and fires a week ago that knocked out power to over 10,000 people. I didn't have any pictures or anything because, go figure, I slept through every minute of the chaos.

Hahaha slept through it actually. I never lost power, only internet; though I could fall back on my LTE, even if the rest of the city was doing the same thing. There are some really interesting photos and videos of it though. I just went back and listened to it all, since my computer recorded all the radio traffic.
