Despite their personality differences (with Miranda being a nerdy bookworm, and Tiffany being much more flamboyant and outgoing), Miranda and Tiffany have been friends for a fairly long time, going back to grade school when their magical talents started to manifest. Of course, Tiffany does take a certain delight in teasing or playfully harassing her friend, much to Miranda's frequent annoyance.
