Last breeding season, Badger broke the fence and got into the neighbor's stock (mostly appaloosa crosses), leaving a few pregnant mares in his wake. Anyway, we get a call about a year later informing us that we needed to take some mix-breed foals off their hands (for a somewhat more than reasonable price). We've been raising this little cohort and they've grown enough that we're going to sell some of them. We've grown rather fond of them, so we'll be very selective as to their eventual homes, and will keep any that don't get bought.

Because of his, er, misbehavior, Badger is now a gelding, but we froze some semen if anyone is desperate for a breeding (limited opportunities remain).
