Lompats, or East-Asian Jumpers, are a special type of horse. Almost completely natural in apearance, the only thing about them that appears unnatural are the feathers which grow from their poll and their eyes.

Lompats all grow feathers from the crest of the heads - these feathers are often brightly coloured and pleasing to the eye. The males generally only grow 2-3 feathers over the course of their life, however an alpha will produce an aditional hormone which will allow him to grow a crest of up to 10 feathers. Females often grow more feathers than the common male, however their feathers are generally softer and the longer ones hang down.

The coat of the Lompat can be any feasible realistic coat colour, with realistic markings. Eyes are always the same colour as the feathers. Their bodies are slender, but strong, and their hooves are not overly large nor overly small, but very strong, with an unusually hard wall. They don't require metal shoes to protect their hooves.

The most interesting thing about the Lompats, however, is their ability to Jump. Lompats possess the ability to leap to amazing heights without difficulty. A newborn foal is able to clear heights of atleast 3 feet, and this ability will grow as the Lompat ages. Many owners of domesticated Lompats will often find their horses staring down at them from the roof of the stables, or from high up in a tree. Lompats love to jump, and they can't be permanently grounded without breaking the horse's spirit.
