The nose and mane led me to believe it was a lion, or at least a leopard. And the lanky legs look like that of a cat as well. The tail is also very unnaturally bushy for any sort of purely lupine animal - more like a fox or jackal.

Well I originally did this on Paper and edited it on Skype and I know the anotomy is off.
His sona is a very bushy furred wolf with an abnormally fluffy tail.
I don't see how his nose looks feline since it's long and more slender than the 'boxlike' cat muzzle.

A lupine nose isn't triangular like the character depicted. Dogs, wolves, foxes, and such have round noses.

I guess it's just how I've always drawn noses, no matter the species. I'll try and fix that in m future art.
