first bit of rumbelle fanart from this devoted fan. hopefully more of these two will come
I know that not everyone liked Lacey, but I really enjoyed the bit of fun she was able to bring to their relationship. These two needed a break from all the heartbreaking drama, and if that means going out on a 'lets-beat-up-Dr.-Whale-date' then I'm happy with it.
also If I may point out the LACE doily that is serving as the background, mmmh for a miss Lacey

I honestly had nothing against Lacey, though I was happy to see Belle back in the Season Finale. Though it was nice for her to not tell Gold to 'be the better man'. It was nice for her to enjoy his darkness for once. (if only for a little while

I totally agree. I think it's partially due to my love for villains, but it was really fun to see TV give us a couple who were bad, and loved it! for a short while there was no guilt, no one side of the party bumming the other out. they just kicked back, beat up the town doctor, and had a great time

I SO agree. both her and her boyfriend were driving me crazy! and their weird "cult" cleansing plot line just seemed so forced.
I really hope they eliminate her character soon and get back to the fairy tail conflicts

Haha.....This is awesome. Also, it's nice to see someone who likes Lacey. The fandom drove me nuts when Belle was Lacey....I was just excited to see Robert Carlyle and Emilie de Ravin on the TV screen together. I'll take my Rumbelle in any shape or form

lol you're welcome! and really? that's a shame, there shouldn't be hate for liking something the SHOW did. it gave the characters some diversity (and a nice change from all the tears) this way they were vicious and fun, and supportive of each other.
as far as I'm concerned it's as close as they've ever gotten to being in a comfortable relationship.

Well, tbh, some of the fans take the show a little too seriously instead of actually having fun with it. And I keep hearing "Lacey is pointless" and this series isn't even over yet. I'm pretty sure Belle is going to reflect on her time as Lacey in season 3. That's not really something the writers can sweep under the rug.
Can't wait to see Belle be in charge of Storybrooke too!

and I agree with you, there's going to be something more with Lacey, whether it's in memory, or the two of them bonding as they reflect back over that time. if nothing else it's served as something that's helped shape their relationship

Yes! It has actually been confirmed. The writers won't spoil what her exact role is in taking charge of SB though...but they did say that SB is under her protection.
Also, did you notice how Belle was all over Gold a little more when she got her memories. Belle was touchie feelie with him before...but she had her arm in his and the way she kissed him...

I agree. Lacey was a refreshing break from the "never bad, always seeing good" Belle, and to quote from me, 'A Belle with fake memories is better than one with no memories at all. I still want old Belle back though.' I'd hate if Lacey had stuck around permanently though.

It was. When she said, "You really ARE as dark as people say." (Lacey version), I felt that if I had been there, as Rumpel's friend and confidant, I would've run away, horrified by my friend's actions and dead set in my mind that Lacey was a bad influence on him.
