Satellite returns! Just something to show that I'm alive, but still pretty busy with school ;o; I've had his design approved and ready for a while but finally updated his feral picture (although it's still a bit more bare than I would like). I'll have to edit the human form later when I can.

Personality: Satellite is mellow, but at the same time a huge dork when he is relaxed. He enjoys being able to share the cafe with people who need it like him to unwind or have somewhere safe to go. Also likes delving into good books or tv shows and being able to share them, while also wanting his own quiet time. He can be hugely protective and is especially mindful of children.

Bio: Satellite was born to two parents who, after finding old books and films, dreamed constantly about seeing the stars beyond the smog of the Earth. They couldn't help but adore him and soon started referring to him affectionately as their own little space creature (and nerdily calling him Seti after the old organization). As he grew, he did his best to avoid conflicts in school and for the most part he was able to handle himself well. Unfortunately he couldn't help trying to prove his worth against other bullying students despite his parents urging him to avoid it. One person in school finally challenged him to a fight, poking and jabbing at him with insults wondering how his parents even thought he was worth keeping alive. Satellite up to that point had no serious fights under his belt, but had plenty of muscle built up from lifting machinery and when it finally came time for the fight he found out one thing: He was good at it. The other fighter was down within seconds while he continued to pound on them with so much damage that another frightened student called the police while others pulled him off, with him viciously fighting to get free. Charges were dropped after authorities heard the full story, but he was still expelled from the school and so his parents packed up everything they had and moved far away in the city for their own peace of mind. None of them talked much about what happened. He kept more to himself but still tried to be open with his parents when he could.

He managed to land himself a job managing as a basic mechanic, while now and then going off to fights for some extra cash to afford his own apartment. In the midst of this he suddenly found himself dumbstruck falling head over heels for someone who came to watch one of his matches. Satellite found himself so enamored he couldn't see the times they would be manipulative or taking advantage of his kindness and status in the fights; he only wanted to provide for them. When the pair found out they were pregnant, he was ecstatic. They on the other hand did not share his happiness. One day soon after he arrived at home to find all of their belongings gone with nothing but a backhanded note saying thy would be dumping the egg as soon as they could. His heart was shattered to pieces, and everything in that moment felt like the world had gone dead. Neither were ever found again, and the only good to come from the situation was the moment he found a lost kitten struggling to survive. This..this was something he could actually do something about. He took them home, and from then on vowed to do whatever he could to ease the struggle of the pollution for a creature that mattered to him so dearly, and for further companions that he would adopt along the way. Eventually, he retired from the fighting business after he realized he was turning into someone that he didn't want to be and instead fully focused on his own businesses; one at the mechanic shop and another to open a cat cafe.

He is often haunted at night by the thoughts of the child that could have been..and wondering how he could fail so terribly.
