Hey there! I'm from ProjectComment, and as a great lover of robots and mechanicals myself, this really caught my eye.
The style of this character is really unique - your bold outlines are really confident and I think they work really well with the symbolism of a robot - solid, dependable, etc. You've really utilized a complementary colour scheme with orange and blue, something a lot of artists find difficult.
I've just got one suggestion, which is to consider shape language when planning your characters. This really applies to all characters, but I find it's especially important with robots as basic shapes are the essence of a robot's form.
If you don't know, shape language is used by designers to link characters, objects and even environments to emotional reactions. The basic shapes are squares, circles and triangles, where squares symbolize strength and stability, circles symbolize friendliness and triangles symbolize action. This can be extended to three dimensional shapes like cubes, spheres and pyramids as well as composite shapes to combine symbolisms.
The reason why I'm suggesting this to you, is you've used a fairly blocky head, but the rest of the robot's body is comprised of circles and round shapes, with little to join the two. This can sometimes be confusing to the viewer, so I recommend maybe using composite shapes to join the head and body.
I hope this helped, and wasn't too confusing! There are loads of resources on the interwebs if I didn't explain it well enough

Thanks so much much for the valuable critique! I agree that the head and body shapes contrast a little too much- However, I only realized that during inking, which made it impossible to change on this piece. I will definitely look into using shapes more to symbolize characters.
