Description Anyone care to tell me why we all of a sudden got all these "Painted Buntings" flying into our area? I've never seen a bird like this.

I dunno but that is one colorful bird. I wouldn't mind having a few around here but all we have are bluebirds and robins.

I enjoy them. I love taking pictures of them. The shots come out so bland and boring to me, but the connection there and trying to catch them at the perfect pose. There's really something there that lights me up.
