after a bit of a dry spell - im back with some new shiz
this is a poster that i made to entice new members into the uni lan gaming club - the way it looks at the moment, im sure we will get loads of freshers who want in.
big thanks to ~LickingCream for providing me with a large version of this [link] stock photo
original is 3500x4900 @ 300dpi - computer was having real issues with it towards the end, not to mention the 180 meg psd is churned out at the end
will try and see if i can get this printed as i wanna see what it looks like in the flesh

Damn, this is nice! I have a few questions though... (sorry I am just amazed at this style) How did you create the background? Almost seems like an object blurred...
Is the girl vector art or a manipulation of a photo?

its about 6 differnt layers of gaussian blurred dots. there may be better ways of achieving the same effect but thats the one i chose. the girl is photomanipulated - it would kill me to do something that real with vectors

im in kind of a retro phase at the moment - dont know what brought it about but ill ride it for as long as it lasts
as for the club - its quite popular already, we just need some fresh members to fill the shoes of the people who graduated last year
