I have a birthday gift and a custom to do, but oh boy this was nice. And slightly painstaking because I tried doing a background and stuff

This an adoptable I got from MMSO-2014 not too long ago, and i'm still trying to get a feel on his personality and story, so this is concept art I guess. Sort of. I know who he's addressing here.

What I have so far is that he is a guardian. I will explain what those are shortly because they have been tumbling around in my head frequently as of late.
He comparatively isn't an old guardian, but old enough to learn a few things. He takes his job very seriously. Actually he takes most things too seriously. He can be a drama queen, and deals with a slight temper. He used to be very VERY aggressive towards anyone besides the ancient monk, but after a while he had to begrudgingly learned that sometimes people just get lost and that he can't attack everyone who comes near.
He is a persistent and loyal bugger. He refuses to give up on things.
Has a love of music and color, dreams and thinks too much for his own good sometimes.

Namewise, i'm bouncing between the name Aidan or Titus.
Design wise, I can't imagine of the red ring in casual situations, so I thinks it's around his waste or something when he's not using his power.
