So finally done with page 4. Summer has ramped up and work is slowing me waaaay down but ya gotta pay those bills. Maybe I should start a Patreon? If I could make a couple a grand a month I could afford to just make this comic my full-time job. I dunno, what do yall think?Another thing that slowed me down is that I ended up scrapping all the figures other than Mr Happy and redrawing the fleeing people. I just wasn't happy with them and if I'm not going to do my best work on my own comic whats the point eh? Gotta hold myself to a standard even when it's driving me crazy that my page isn't done yet. I'm dying to share my stories with you all but I and you all deserve my best efforts.

I see Mr. Happy took being trampled quite well. On the other hand, it seems like a really minor thing to him. I really like how the happy face on his chest changes with his actual expression. And I also like the poses he has in the second and third panel; there's quite a bit of motion going on there
Although one thing I've noticed that bugs be a bit: what happened to the duck and elbow floats (and the swimshorts) he had on page 2?

Glad you liked it and yeah he's pretty tough physically. His density goes from something like gelatin to a hard urethane (like say a bowling ball) at his whim. Some having beach goers stomp on him is no big deal.
I decided a while back when I was doing comics in the group a troupe of Mr Happy would be to rarely change his facial expression but instead have his chest emblem reflect his moods.
Thanks about the poses in panels 2 and 3. While doing said DU comics I came to realize I was not doing enough dynamic posing, especially with foreshortening. Looking back on my previous work I'm looking to improve every way possible.
Well honestly by now I thought my audience would have caught on that Mr Happy can alter his shape and appearance at will. Page one his arm stretches into frame, page 2 he's wearing his weird beachwear, page four he's got a sun on his chest. I thought I'd inferred enough so that this wouldn't be confusing for anyone.

Having his chest reflect his mood is a great idea. I love that big smile on his head. It makes moments like the last four panels here absolutely charming.
And my bad there. TBH I actually figured Mr. Happy actually put those on rather than shapeshift them, which is kinda dumb on my part considering we all know about his ability to shapeshift. I didn't consider that he could shapeshift to "add" or "put on" clothing and accessories, so I apologize there.

No clue, I gotta do some research to see what other webcomic authors are doing and figure out what works for me. I'm thinking of maybe Patreon exclusive strip might be a fun incentive. Definitely, early views of art and profiles before they are released to the public. Maybe live chats and such as well. I'll have to keep brainstorming.
