Description
So this piece was pretty inspired by the cover of Fantastic Four 243 which featured a battle between Galactus and the Avengers and Fantastic Four. I love John Byrne and he's a major influence on me as an artist but I always wondered why this epic battle was set against a solid white background, especially when Byrne is known for doing lots of detailed work. So when suggested that Negus needed to be fighting heroes like Galactus does we decided to collaborate. He would draw the figures and I would color them so they would match the original style of my art. And as an extra bit I new it needed to be a scene with a genuine background and not homaging the blanck white cover of the FF book.

The heroes he are battling are Liberator on his shoulder and is the creation of

The flying green flaming guy is Purgatory and is the creation of

Dude tossing the lightning bolt is Taranis and is the creation of

The lady firing the blue blast is Charisma and was created by

And the big guy punching Negus's leg is Silverstone and was created by
