I'm not a Mario or Sonic fan/expert. But when it comes to the Level designs in Sonic games, inorder to play the game you have to kinda move slow through the levels to avoid spikes, water, and enemies. Sonic is designed to run very fast but the levels in the game are making Sonic to move kind slow. Which doesn't suite the character that well, and the unbearable to me is when Sonic hits in water Sonic moves very slow, and dies. Which makes the gameplay unplayable, and frustrating. Mario is the opposite of Sonic, he moves slow. The way the levels are design are slow as Mario, which suites the character well. This is just in my opinion so you don't have to agree with me.
