I took the reference photos for this image around 1 a.m. at The Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival in Winfield, Kansas. I spent the weekend camping, and taking photos of the festival and it's many musicians. It was a crazy good time and many more paintings based on the festival are sure to come.Related content
