Description
This is some splash art for Riven, a character in League of Legends by Riot Games.The original art and coloring of Riven in this was done by Knockwurst (who works at Riot to do art for LoL). You can see his original piece here: fav.me/d49rcgd
I decided to make this into splash art because I want to add it to my client. Knockwurst did such a great job!
I used these colors to make more of a dark feel (being that she was from Noxus). I know Kienan drew her to look quite the opposite of menacing, but the end result is kinda cool. I added lighting effects (tried to practice making light/shadows from a single light source), made her a bit more red, and darkened her lines. Overall I think it turned out quite well!
