Thanks. Very common in some areas here. I remember in my teens riding my horse along miles of trails with almost nothing but these on either side (though a variety which wasn't so densely flowered).

If you mean where i used to ride, it's not property I could have access to now, and... (consults google earth) well, it hasn't been subdivided yet, but houses and roads are pushing into it
