New year, new title! On January 28, 2024, veteran wrestler Midnight Tear defeated fellow Babyface and technical marvel Jessica Priest in an early match-of-the-year contender to be crowned VWW's inaugural North American Champion!

In a post-match promo she promised to give her blood, sweat and tears to make sure that by the end of her reign, this new title would be on par with the Undisputed VWW World Championship. With that promise, she has already set the bar pretty high for herself and the title. But if anybody can do it, it's her! Let's find out together if she will!

- Midnight Tear pinned Rodríguez with a Back Suplex Hold.
MATCH RATING:

NOTE: The fans were originally not too excited by this main event, because Midnight Tear and Raquel Rodríguez had wrestled each other several times already in 2022 and 2023. However, the two women trolled the fans, winning them over by going 120 mph and building on all their previous encounters. In the end, Rodríguez tried to counter Midnight Tear's Sleeper Hold into a pinning predicament like Bret Hart used to do. Midnight Tear saw it coming, though, and transitioned into a Back Suplex, using Rodríguez's momentum against and pinning her. After the match, Rodríguez actually offered her rival a handshake, further continuing her slow burn Face Turn.
