And now for something a bit different!
While our women's promotions are building towards a joint show in April, competing against each other, WEW and Youngblood Wrestling are coming together for a joint project of a different kind. See, WEW is about to introduce new titles, the WEW Mixed Tag Team Championship. For that, they are bringing back the "Mixed Dreams Tournament", that back in 2017 introduced the VWW Mixed Tag Team Titles. As a joint project, it will be boys and girls from both promotions' roster teaming up to form interpromotional tag teams to compete in the tournament. Who will make history?

WHO ARE YOU ROOTING FOR?

This next team to qualify for the tournament both have a chip on their shoulder, Youngblood Wrestling's Bruno Metzger and WEW's Samera. Both see this tournament as a chance at rehabilitation or, as they would put it, a chance to remind the wrestling world just who the hell they are!

BRUNO METZGER
Well aware that he is seen as "just the other guy" in Steel Nation, especially since Verena went from manager to fully-fletched third member, Bruno is seeking redemption. He entered this tournament to do something to showcase himself, away from Steel Nation. When he learned that Samera was gonna be his partner, he couldn't have been happier. Wrestling almost the exact same style, the two might lack coverage, but make up for that in brutality and sheer strength. It will take someone special to knock these two out of the tournament!

The first woman to sign with WEW and for the longest time their most feared monster, Samera has found herself taking an involuntary backseat to some of the newer talent lately. For someone of her standing, who still holds the record for the longest uninterrupted reign with the WEW Women's Title, at an impressive two years and ten days, this is unacceptable! So when this tournament was announced and WEW management said they needed bodies, Samera thought that she did, too - and said bodies would soon hit the floor! With notoriously stiff worker Bruno Metzger by her side, Samera is preparing to throw a true "Potato Bash" and everyone's invited! Don't forget to bring ice!
