Description
Some of you may recognize this from Gackt's Moon and Crecent album inserts. I've had the sketch sitting in an old book for months now and something the other day possesed me to finally get around to finishing it.And before anyone who knows me well makes a comment about it being purple, so was the inspiration.
I don't normally say this, but please full view. Even at that size, a lot of detail is sadly lost.

Very nice. The purple hue makes it really stand out, especially with the red blood and the golden eyes. The way you half-covered his face also adds another nice effect. The only thing that kind of looks off is how the sword is shaded. Metal should be shaded a bit more smoothly then jaggedy, or else it'll look somewhat like fabric or something. Unless, of course, you've meant to make it look indented, but the jagged strokes would need to be a lot shorter then they are here.

Actually, I was shooting more for the fang look on it, since it really is supposed to be made from a tooth. The movies tend to make it look more metalic, but the series has kept it more of a tooth color, so that was the look I shot for.
