The forth in a series of four Mucha-inspired seasons pieces."fuyu" is Japanese for Winter.

Love the idea of the seasons as a theme. I agree with Urd-Chan, of course Kikyou would be perfect for winter. I love her expression. It looks colder than the snow on the ground. I know it seems everyone is doing the 7 deadly sins but I would love to see you do it in IY characters, maybe the opposite also the 7 virtues also. Think about it.

I love her for winter so much because I think of winter as a very 'holding' season (I don't even know what I'm saying) and very suspended; all life is on hold, and it fits her so well! Her expression is so unconcerned and unruffled, fabulous!

I'm going to tell you in one post that I love all four of your renderings of the seasons, Inuyasha style. I'll pick all four as favorites. Are you going to do the men as elements? I'd really love to see what you'd do with that. Anyway, I love your work. I'm always thirsty for more.

Perfect choice of season for Kikyou. Again, love the "frame" and the overall composition, not to mention the great job on the coloring.

well since i dont watch inuyasha (only seen it a few times) i dont know the characters you guys are talking about. but even still youve captured...whoever she is in a way that even i can tell winter is her element. shes got that "dont screw with me" look on her face. all of these are incredible; youre very talented.

another awesome image. winter does suit kikyo perfectly-cold bitch that she is. and especially since she is dead...technically. aaaah. i really love this set. it's just so lovely. and the red and black of her hakam and hair, really contrasts well with the rest of the image. not to mention her spirit thing

Winter really suits Kikyo's character, as she is in so many ways the opposite of Kagome. Nice choice. The entire series is so beautiful and fits each woman you chose wonderfully. Wonderful
