One of my watchers asked me if I had tips on painting eyes, so I made this short tutorial.
I vary in methods, but this is basically one method I use for making my eyes. I may make another later.

Made with SAI. Done in 4 layers; Skin, eye balls, eye outline, then an overlay layer (Step 9)

Airbrush, 70% opacity, 100% min size (0% for eyelashes), 2nd hardest brush (3rd hardest for some lighting)

I just start by blotching the shape of the eye (sometimes erasing to shape it), then make a separate layer for the eyelids/lashes.
The overlay was just a shade of pink, then white, and then dark red, but you can decide for yourself what colors you'd like.
