May is apparently considered the month of the mermaid nowadays, so hereβs an Egyptian mermaid to celebrate. The fish on which her tail is based would be the Nile perch (Lates niloticus) which is native to the Nile and numerous other rivers and bodies of fresh water throughout the African continent.

Very interesting I have honestly never seen someone do a design of an Egyptian mermaid. I think it is especially cool you based her fish half on the Nile perch. Very cool.

Amazing concept! I like how you picked a fish that connects to Egypt for the tail as well rather than just picking your good old usual mermaid tail. Makes the character much more authentic. I'd honestly love to see more of her, she seems like a great character for a comic in my opinion!
