So you dont use any sort or wire or foil frame? Its just all paper?? If you do remake it, could you show how you do the small details like scales and such?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BraveBabysitter In reply to HollieBollie [2013-04-03 12:35:57 +0000 UTC]

nope, it's all just paper. I guess I could show that, but It's the same principal as making all the other pieces. I just may use a bit of sculpting tools, the ones with the small points. I can't reach every part I want to put a scale on with my fingers, so I need help. But each scale is just made on it's own and placed on the body, one by one.

Beautiful, one could almost imagine these could exist! Elegant solution to what I think is a dilemma with dragon wings, how and where the membrane ends against the body. Often on dragons they make it just go to the "arm pit" of the wing, and it doesn't seem to be capable of providing lift that way.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BraveBabysitter In reply to LouisTarado [2013-02-14 20:26:45 +0000 UTC]

Thank you Yeah, this is the only way where I can see it making the most sense, the attachment area of the wing.
