Mordecai has her own set of poisons in her cupboards, not just Voldemort. So in a way, Mordecai uses herself to get what she wants, though Voldemort thought he got what he wanted. Women do this easily all the time...sex goes a long way.

Moving on, this is a part of Mordecai's initiation into the Death Eater clan. The last...and final test. When Bellatrix finds that only Voldemort gave Mordecai this test, she goes on a screaming jealous rampage. Completely harmless, actually-she's like the Voldy cheerleader with no special powers except to curse people. Females, to me, are pretty powerless sometimes. I said sometimes!
