I thought it was from a movie I watched but a friend sent me this : [link] -- And I realized I channeled the image into my own use. I remember seeing this pose with my brother, when he was surfing online. So I'm making sure to send the cred out -- I guess it really stayed with me -- no wonder, what a beautiful pose.
Okay.. so after completely my first entry for Faerie Costume Designs from I got this image in my head of Viva and Cloud. Granted this was after watching some sappy movies last night.
So this is capturing a moment when they were in love. That moment right before you kiss. You have this passion just brewing ready to take control.
Yes, I know there are not wings. Yes, I know it's sopose to be a "costume design" but I just couldn't help myself!!!
I did want to put in a starry night and full moon. But I just couldn't get it the way I wanted it. If any one out there wants to tweek it.. add the stars and moons.. Oooo and those glowy light things around them! Yea!!
I just did a quick coloring. If you'd like to take a stab at coloring, I'll load the lineart for it.
I am entering this in the contest, even if it doesnt' win.

Ah hah! Yes, I have seen this! My brother was surfing and I even told him.. "that's so romanitic!" I've added the link to my descripton to give cred to the image I saw. Great work! And it totally looks better as a 3D. I'll take mine down if that's what you want?

I'm very honoured that you would get inspiration from my image. Some people don't like their images to be copied, but I think it's very wonderful if someone sees an image and they like it enough to make their own version of it ^_^
You know, I was just comparing our two images.... Wow, they are almost identical other then that your one's 2D and mine's 3D. Like even the grass is in the same position...

Actually, I think I like your one better... I always liked 2D, and I like his face better then the guy in my one.

you have a lovely gallery. I've done a few photo manips -- I haven't really tried a piece like you have. mine have been restoring old photos for family. but the techniques are the same I sopose.

I only just started going photo manipulations a couple of months ago. I have a site where you can order photo manips form me, though it's only just opened and no one's actually ordered any yet ^_^'
And out of any type of photo manipulation you can do, I hate restoring photos the most

Now, technically you won based on the design in your other image with Viva, but I liked the composition of this one better. The tiara is what really caught my eye.
